These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Participant") and The Finer Society. By booking an Event or using our Platform, you agree to these Terms governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

1. Registration and Bookings
- •Direct Booking: Every registration for a wellness trip or activity constitutes a formal contract for service.
- •Accuracy: Participants are responsible for providing accurate health and identity information. Misrepresentation may lead to cancellation of participation without refund.
2. Payment Terms
- •Transaction Validity: All bookings are processed through authorized payment channels in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
- •VAT (PPN): All prices are exclusive of applicable local taxes (PPN) and service fees, which will be added at the final stage of checkout.
- •Non-Mass-Produced Policy: Because our events are limited-capacity and intentionally designed, bookings are confirmed only after full payment or a non-refundable deposit is received.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- •Refund Eligibility: Refunds are processed based on the timeframe of cancellation relative to the event date.
- •Third-Party Fees: Any non-refundable costs already paid to partners (e.g., venue down payments or artisanal supplies) will be deducted from the refund amount.
- •No-Show: Failure to attend an event without prior written notice results in 100% forfeiture of the event fee.
4. Event Participation and Safety
- •Health Responsibility: Wellness activities (yoga, trekking, etc.) carry inherent physical risks. Participants must ensure they are medically fit.
- •Insurance (Default Responsibility): Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific Event description, personal travel insurance and health insurance are not included in the Event fee. We strongly recommend that Participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.
- •Insurance (Specific Coverage): For certain high-risk activities, the Organizer may facilitate group insurance. If insurance is included, it will be clearly listed as a "Price Inclusion" on the Event's booking page. The coverage provided will be subject to the terms and limits of the third-party insurance provider.
- •Code of Conduct: We reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behavior disrupts the safety or harmony of the group.
5. Force Majeure
The Organizer is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government travel bans, or civil unrest within Indonesia. In such cases, we will strive to offer credit for future events or rescheduling options.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall first be settled via Musyawarah (Amicable Discussion). If a settlement cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved within the jurisdiction of the District Court (Pengadilan Negeri) where the Organizer is domiciled.
7. Complaints & Contact
- •Submission Procedure: Feedback or complaints must be submitted in writing via official email (hello@thefinersociety.com) or WhatsApp (+62 85128011005) within 7 working days of the Event's conclusion.
- •Resolution Process: We aim to respond within 48 business hours. All disputes must be resolved through Amicable Settlement (Musyawarah) before seeking external or legal action.
- •Required Documentation: Participants must provide a Booking ID and supporting evidence (e.g., photos or correspondence) to facilitate the review process.
8. Update & Revision Policy
- •Policy Amendments: The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time to comply with Indonesian law or operational needs. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted.
- •Itinerary & Content: We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to schedules or activities. Significant changes (e.g., venue or lead instructor) will be communicated via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible.
- •Pricing & Platform: Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Paid bookings remain fixed unless government tax (PPN) is adjusted. We reserve the right to update platform features or conduct maintenance without prior notice.
